Operations Manager or Operations Superintendent

Olympic Valley Public Service District is accepting applications for the position of Operations Manager or Operations Superintendent. The salary range is $160,552 - $195,152 annually for Operations Manager and $125,122 -$152,077 annually for Operations Superintendent. Both positions are exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and include a full benefit package plus Certification pay of up to 10%. The District will hire one individual based on qualifications and experience. This position requires the ability to perform capably in all aspects of the District's operations. It involves frequent use of independent judgment, interpretative ability, and initiative; the ability to communicate professionally with customers, other departments, District management, vendors, and regulatory agencies; and the ability to work cooperatively with others. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the importance of collaboration and communication in a small team setting.The position is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and maintenance of the District's water and wastewater systems, fleet services, and related infrastructure. Under general direction, the role includes planning, assigning, and supervising the work of field crews engaged in the construction, repair, maintenance, sampling, and testing of the water and sewer systems.
