Job ** Unarmed Security Guard Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Includes Medical, Dental, Vision, and PTOPosition **We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our residential property in Coney Island, Brooklyn. This position requires strong observational skills, a calm demeanor, and the ability to enforce building policies while providing courteous support to residents, guests, and staff.Key *Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to prevent unauthorized access.Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to maintain safety and identify any security or maintenance concerns.Greet and assist residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergency situations and escalate appropriately.Write accurate daily activity and incident reports.Enforce building rules and regulations, including noise control and visitor policies.Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms) and report irregularities.Collaborate with property management and maintenance staff to address tenant concerns and ensure a secure environment.**High school diploma or equivalent required.Valid NYS Security Guard License (8-hour pre-assignment + 16-hour on-the-job training).At least 1 year of security or customer-facing experience preferred.Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.Must be professional in appearance, punctual, and dependable.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and conduct frequent patrols.Familiarity with residential or mixed-use property settings a plus.Bilingual a plus (e.g., Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, etc.).
