MAU is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for our client in Washington, GA. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the maintenance team in troubleshooting, repairing, and enhancing industrial manufacturing equipment to maximize plant reliability and performance. This is a direct-hire opportunity.Benefits Package:401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offShift Information:Monday - Friday (40 hours)Required Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentExtensive experience with industrial electronic equipment, including motors, drives, controls, starters, lights, power, communication systems, and PLCsExtensive programming experienceExperience working on energized circuitsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Education and Experience:College degree or technical school degreeSupervisory experienceGeneral Requirements:Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend EnglishStrong math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and read measurements in standard and metricProficiency in reading electrical schematics and PLC programsAbility to climb stairs, lift and carry up to 55 lbs, kneel, bend, and ascend/descend laddersUnderstanding of best practice safety procedures, including Arc Flash ProtectionStrong human relations skills and a team-oriented mindsetEssential Functions:Supervise maintenance personnel in executing equipment maintenance and repairParticipate in daily scheduling and check-in meetingsCoordinate activities for scheduled maintenanceConduct daily job walk-downs and ensure work quality and safetyMaintain and report job status and provide feedback to OperationsConduct toolbox meetings and status updates with staffProcess invoices for services and support lean manufacturing goalsProvide technical support across site maintenance operationsManage administrative tasks: timekeeping, training, evaluations, and disciplineIdentify training needs and lead 5S activitiesSubmit updated drawings to EngineeringOrder and track materials needed for maintenanceTroubleshoot PLC programming and support equipment modificationsLead preventive and predictive maintenance planningDevelop and assemble work packages for maintenance jobsAssist in monitoring maintenance costs and plant availability goalsMaintain a maintenance backlog and work schedulesWorking Conditions:On-site position in a manufacturing environmentMay involve night or weekend workLong periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and reachingPhysical Demands:Ability to lift up to 55 poundsFrequent climbing of stairs and laddersExtended periods of standing or walkingMAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
