We want Holloway to be the company where you build your career and retire from.THE ROLEThe Plant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities within the plant. This role ensures optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of all mechanical and electrical systems, while leading a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating maintenance activities.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESLead, train, and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiencyIdentify and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to productionEnforce safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standardsAssist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunitiesManage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure availability for timely repairsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections; generate reports as neededWork closely with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on operationsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in maintenance operationsOther duties as assigned ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferredExperience: 5+ years of experience in plant maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleTechnical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; familiarity with industrial equipment and toolsLeadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills Safety: Ability to lead and drive safety initiatives (training, LOTO, OSHA regulations, etc.)Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to maintenance challengesPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND REQUIREMENTSEnvironmental conditions - must work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat. The operator may at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infectionMental demands- conditions that may lead to mental or emotional fatigue. This position entails working independently and maintaining a schedule of work. Any problems or inconveniences may result in increased stress to complete tasks in a limited timeOccasionally lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling 25 to 50 poundsClimb on and around equipment and sit for long periods while operating equipmentWalk and stand for long periods of timeAble to climb a minimum of 2 story of stairsMust pass drug screen and physical. Must have a valid Driver's License.
