Construction Superintendent - Heavy Civil We Search People are looking for a senior level construction professional to join our client based in the DC area.They are a very well established General Contractor who are offering a long-term permanent position working within an excellent culture. This role is paying an excellent basic salary in addition to a generous benefits package and bonus.This position has a very clear progression path over the next few years.THE COMPANYOur client are a fast-growing, minority-owned General Contractor. They specialize in Federal & Commercial construction.THE ROLEThe successful candidate will be leading daily operations on a 4/5 month roadway project in Petersburg, VA - the project includes drainage culvert replacement, parking adjustments & underdrain installation. You will be managing field schedules, enforcing safety protocols and coordinating subcontractors.The successful candidate must be professional, integrity-minded, and a personable leader committed to the overall objective and self-development within the company.Requirements· Minimum 5 years experience in civil construction· A strong background in roadwork, drainage and utility work· Comfortable managing diverse trades & field crews· Knowledge and certifications on safety standards and OSHA, with a minimum of 10-hour certification required· Project Management, control & scheduling experience· Knowledge of blueprint reading and the ability to follow and implement details as shown on plansThis is an excellent opportunity to join a client who are going through an exciting growth period, offering an excellent culture and long-term progression.
