With an in-house design department, we specialize in design-build projects.As a Construction Superintendent, you’ll play a key role within the on-site leadership to oversee and manage all aspects of the project. With your strong knowledge of construction means and methods, you’ll be in charge of coordinating and supervising both subcontractor and in-house resources to ensure the project is completed safely, efficiently, and within the specified timeframe and budget. Over 20% of MZT’s key leaders started in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the performance assessment plan is updated monthlyCoordinate with the QC Manager and certified inspectors to inspect all work and rework. Maintain a rework log. Must be building oriented.Ensure that Contractor Production Reports are prepared daily.Coordinate with the QC Manager to ensure that design and construction submittals are reviewed and approved prior to allowing material on site and work to proceed with these items.Update As-built drawings daily, maintaining up-to-date set on site.Perform Punch-out and Pre-final inspections and participate in Final Inspections. Correct all deficiencies prior to the Final inspection.Coordinate with the QC Manager to ensure that all applicable tests, special inspections, and observations required by the contract are performed.Review the P6 master project schedule and create the three-week look-ahead schedule. Present this schedule to the Client at weekly progress meetings.Coordinate all jobsite work with the subcontractors.
