As Vice President of Scheduling, you will lead the development and management of company-wide scheduling procedures and tools. Acting as a change agent, you’ll drive organization-wide understanding and adoption of scheduling practices. Responsibilities include overseeing all planning and scheduling functions, managing staff, setting objectives, providing technical guidance, and ensuring alignment with both Owner and Company expectations. You will report project scheduling status regularly to the President of Operations.Leadership & TrainingBuild and lead a high-performance scheduling team through training, coaching, and development.Design and deliver scheduling training programs; ensure software proficiency across the team.Provide regular performance feedback and conduct timely evaluations.Scheduling OperationsOversee company-wide scheduling procedures, software, and compliance with company and client standards.Act as a change agent to promote adoption of scheduling best practices across the organization.Ensure all schedules are technically sound, contract-compliant, and aligned with project milestones.Project Planning & ExecutionEngage in preconstruction planning, proposal schedules, and constructability reviews.Assign schedulers to new projects and lead reviews of master schedules with project leadership.Ensure timely development, updates, and communication of project schedules throughout all phases.Construction & Close-OutEnforce safety standards (OSHA 30 certification required); lead by example during site visits.Review site progress and schedule accuracy regularly; lead resolution of schedule impacts.Oversee final as-built schedule completion and archival.Support and lead schedule-related claims when necessary.****10+ years of experience in construction scheduling, including leadership roles.Proven expertise in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6) and project controls.Strong communication and team leadership skills.OSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).Deep understanding of construction sequencing, contracts, and risk analysis.Office in Houston or Little Rock if Dallas doesnt suit
