Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.Key Responsibilities:· Project Support and Coordination: Support the Project Manager in the overall planning, execution, and control of construction projects. Coordinate project activities, track progress, and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.· Documentation and Communication: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, meeting minutes, and reports. Communicate effectively with project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.· Subcontractor and Vendor Management: Assist in the procurement and management of subcontractors and vendors. Review bids, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements.· Site Coordination and Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety. Coordinate with field personnel to resolve issues and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.· Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that work is performed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Assist in conducting quality inspections and identifying any potential issues.· Cost Control and Tracking: Assist in tracking project costs and identifying potential cost overruns. Prepare and submit change orders as needed. Monitor subcontractor invoices and ensure accuracy.· Safety Management: Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all project personnel. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.· Risk Management: Identify and assess potential project risks. Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.· Problem Solving and Decision Making: Support the Project Manager in identifying and resolving project challenges. Contribute to decision-making processes and offer solutions to project-related issues.· Professional Development: Continuously develop project management skills and knowledge through training, mentorship, and on-the-job experience.Professional Experience/Qualifications: · Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture from a top-tier school. · 3-5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. · Experience with complex tenant improvement projects is a plus.· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, even under pressure. · In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. · Proficiency in project management software (e.g., ACC, Procore, Bluebeam) and other relevant technologies. · Licenses and Certifications: Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Construction Management certifications (preferred). OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.
