Sr Construction Data Center Manager

We are partnered with a global leader in the delivery of high-performance, scalable, and energy-efficient hyperscale data centers for the world’s largest technology companies, specializing in end-to-end infrastructure solutions across North America, supporting mission-critical workloads with precision, speed, and operational excellence.We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a General Contractor (GC) background to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center developments. This role will play a pivotal part in our rapid global expansion and commitment to best-in-class project execution.Role SummaryAs a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing large-scale data center construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning. You’ll lead GC coordination, maintain schedule and budget alignment, and ensure delivery excellence across design, engineering, and field execution teams. This role requires deep field knowledge, stakeholder management, and an ability to operate under aggressive timelines and high client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full lifecycle of hyperscale data center builds, from site mobilization to deliveryLead all GC-side coordination, including subcontractor oversight, vendor engagement, and schedulingCollaborate with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, design intent, and delivery milestonesMonitor construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance with building codes and company standardsPrepare and maintain detailed project reports, risk registers, RFI tracking, change orders, and documentationDrive value engineering, schedule recovery, and problem-solving during execution phaseRepresent the company at OAC meetings, site walks, and client reviewsSupport commissioning and handover in coordination with operations and QA/QC teamsQualifications8+ years of experience in large-scale data center or mission-critical constructionProven background in General Contracting (GC), with hands-on project execution responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of MEP systems, structural coordination, and data center-specific delivery requirementsFamiliarity with hyperscale client standards (e.g., AWS, Meta, Google, Microsoft)Exceptional schedule management, budgeting, and cost control skillsAbility to lead multidisciplinary project teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skillsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredPMP, LEED, or similar certifications are a plus
