Join a collaborative team offering competitive benefits and growth opportunities in a dynamic work environment.About the RoleYour Role & ResponsibilitiesEvaluate multi-family properties for construction deficiencies and recommend necessary improvements to meet code compliance.Develop detailed scopes of work and cost estimates for property repairs and renovations.Collaborate with supervisors to ensure accurate estimates and bid packages.Conduct site inspections with clients, sales representatives, and insurance adjusters as needed.Utilize Xactimate to prepare timely and precise repair estimates.Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters and negotiate settlements.Provide construction expertise during contract negotiations.Support operations and office staff with proper documentation throughout the bidding process.Offer insights on material and labor cost estimating.Utilize problem-solving skills to address construction challenges and develop effective solutions.QualificationsConstruction estimating experience is required (multi-family renovation experience is preferred).Must reside in the area and be willing to conduct local site visits as needed.High school diploma or equivalent; additional construction-related certifications are a plus.Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.Ability to read and interpret multi-family construction drawings and specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with NAV, ProCore, or Sage is a plus.Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of integrity.
