PrideStaff has this great Direct Hire position for an experienced Heavy Construction Equipment - Service Advisor located at our clients facility in Walton KY. This is a First shift Mon-Fri position paying between $62,000 up to 75,000 for the right candidate. Strong Benefits plan with a family owned growing business.The Heavy Equipment Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between the service department and customers. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely, accurate, and professional service. The Service Advisor is responsible for managing service requests, processing warranty claims, coordinating repairs, and maintaining clear communication with both customers and service technicians.RequirementsA) MUST HAVE HEAVY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT REPAIR & SERVICE WRITING EXPERIENCE -- This is equipment like excavators, graders and wheel loaders.Customer Interaction:Greet customers and assess their service needs.Listen to customer concerns and provide accurate information regarding repair and maintenance services.Create and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.Service Coordination:Schedule service appointments and prepare repair orders.Coordinate with Shop Foreman to ensure timely completion of repairs.Keep customers informed about the status of their repairs and any additional required work.Obtain customer approvals for additional services and ensure they understand the scope and cost of the work being performed.Warranty Claims Processing:Accurately process warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and submitted to the manufacturer in a timely manner.Follow up on outstanding warranty claims and resolve any issues that may arise.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of warranty policies and procedures.Administrative Duties:Maintain detailed and organized service records.Prepare and present accurate estimates and invoices to customers.Assist in managing service department inventory and ordering parts as needed.Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.Customer Service:Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.Strive to exceed customer expectations in all service interactions.Follow up with customers post-service to ensure their satisfaction and encourage feedback.QUALIFICATIONSHeavy Equipment Service Experience RequiredExceptional communication and Interpersonal skillsAbility to understand and carry out verbal and written instructionsAdvanced computer skills to learn our systems and work effectively in themOrganizational skills and attention to detailHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offShift:8 hour shiftWork Days:Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
