Job ** Construction Manager – Electrical & Battery StorageJob * Contract (W2)Start * 8/1/2025End * 4/30/2026 (with potential for extension)Work * Wilmington, DEWork * Monday–Friday; occasional OT and weekend work may be required* $55 to $60 per hourOur industry-leading energy and infrastructure client is seeking a Construction Manager with a strong background in electrical systems and battery energy storage projects. This role will be responsible for the daily construction oversight and coordination of a high-impact project in the Wilmington, DE area. You will work closely with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.Key **Manage the day-to-day construction, administration, and technical oversight of electrical and battery storage construction projects.Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and materials to ensure project milestones and safety standards are met.Maintain and update detailed project schedules, including critical path tracking and two-week look-ahead schedules.Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for client interactions, customer service, and contract compliance.Assist the Senior Project Manager with progress tracking, internal communications, and reporting.Ensure adherence to local codes, permitting, AHJ inspections, and compliance with OSHA and safety best practices.Oversee and coordinate special inspections, quality control processes, and punch-list closeouts.Maintain documentation using construction management tools (e.g., Procore) and support project reporting requirements.Proactively identify and resolve issues that may affect budget, schedule, or scope.Perform other duties as needed to support project delivery and client satisfaction.*High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelors in Construction Management or related field preferred.3+ years of experience managing electrical or energy storage construction projects.Strong understanding of electrical codes, battery storage technologies, and power system construction.OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred).First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred).Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).Organized, proactive, and experienced in maintaining OSHA and site safety compliance.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders with professionalism.Job * Contract* $55.00 – $60.00 per hourExpected ** 40 – 50 hours per week
