Top notch company in the Milwaukee, WI area with over 800 employees has an outstanding opportunities for Maintenance Technicians. 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions available. These are 8 hour shifts. Job ***** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all phases of maintenance including PM/PDM, PLC, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, Control systems and mechanical repair of all key process equipment. This will be achieved by maintaining Audited certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation. Essential ***** • Investigate, diagnose and perform corrective actions on all key process equipment. • Troubleshoot problems working from schematics, ladder diagrams, and drawings. • Enter machine/ equipment repair requests into CMMS software database. • Perform preventive/predictive maintenance inspections and complete repairs that may arise from those inspections. • Assist with Industrial engineering projects. • Installs and upgrades of key process equipment and systems. • Report to the maintenance leads or maintenance supervisor upon detection any machine/ equipment/ building discrepancies that can/ will have detrimental effects. • Practice lock-out tag-out procedures. Other ***** • Communicate work that took place between shift to following shift. • Attend and successfully complete forklift certification. • Attend required training/ seminars. • Complete purchase orders according to procedure and submit for approval. • Required Personal Protective Equipment * safety shoes are to be worn at all time during your scheduled work hours. * Department manager/supervisor will cover additional PPE as required on department specific work instructions. • All employees entering the manufacturing area and other identified locations must wear the designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). • Wearing your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a condition of employment. • Perform other duties as assigned. ***** • 2 years’ experience as a skilled trade technician, Comparable Military service experience and training, enrolled in or completion of a skilled trade diploma, certificate, apprenticeship, or associate degree. • A complete set of personnel Industrial Maintenance Tools • Willing and able to work overtime weekdays and weekends as needed • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 70 lbs. required. Ability to stand and walk during scheduled shift. • Training to perform all Preventative and Predictive procedures properly and accurately. • Training to Investigate, diagnose, and perform corrective actions on all HT key process equipment and systems. • Training on all software required • Ability to diagnose issues using schematics, drawings, • Must have valid drivers license, adequate insurance and acceptable driving record. • Competent knowledge and troubleshooting skills, ability, and willingness to learn skills.
