Job ** Temporary Commercial Maintenance Technician Akron, OH 12–18 weeks (may vary slightly)Start * ASAPReports * Commercial Property ManagerPay * $28-30/hourKey *Conduct routine building inspections and complete preventative maintenance tasksTroubleshoot and perform repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systemsCoordinate and supervise third-party vendors for specialized servicesMonitor the overall condition and functionality of each building siteMaintain accurate documentation of work completed and systems maintainedRespond to service requests, emergencies, and after-hours issues as neededCommunicate professionally with tenants, contractors, and the property management teamMinimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a commercial or healthcare settingStrong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire/life safety systemsValid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to multiple sitesHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certifications preferredExcellent time management, communication, and organizational skillsAble to work independently with minimal supervision and adjust quickly to changing prioritiesMust be available to start immediatelyAdditional ***Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders and standard maintenance equipmentTravel within the assigned regional area (Canton, Cleveland, Akron, Marion) is requiredOccasional availability for after-hours or emergency work requests
