** Parksley, VA (Relocation assistance offered) Maintenance / EngineeringReports ** Maintenance Manager / Plant ManagerJob * Full-Time | On-Site | Position *We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all plant equipment and systems while supporting production goals and regulatory compliance.Key *Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians, including preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.Ensure all equipment, utilities, and facilities are maintained in compliance with food safety standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, SQF).Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and upgrades.Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.Train and mentor maintenance staff to build technical skills and promote a culture of accountability.Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of food processing equipment, packaging machinery, and utility systems (e.g., boilers, refrigeration, compressed air).Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance best practices.Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, as needed.What We ***Competitive salary and shift differentials (if applicable)Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)Paid time off and holiday payOpportunities for advancement and technical trainingA clean, safe, and team-oriented work environment
