We are working with a dynamic manufacturing company with a close-knit team of just under 100 employees. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage weekly payroll processing and benefits administration for our hourly and salaried workforce. This role is critical in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, and that they receive top-tier support with benefits-related matters.Position **The Payroll & Benefits Specialist is responsible for the full cycle of payroll processing on a weekly basis and serves as the primary contact for employee benefits administration. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of payroll regulations, benefits compliance, and can work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key *Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees with a high degree of accuracy and confidentialityMaintain employee records, timekeeping data, and payroll system updatesAdminister all aspects of employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and leave programsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour lawsServe as point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefit questions, issue resolution, and onboarding/offboarding benefits supportCoordinate with HR and management on employee status changes such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and pay adjustmentsReconcile payroll and benefits accounts and support month-end and year-end processesPrepare and distribute reports as needed (payroll summaries, benefits enrollment data, etc.)Assist with open enrollment, vendor communication, and ACA reportingMaintain confidentiality of employee information at all times*3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong working knowledge of employee benefits administrationExperience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar) and timekeeping softwareKnowledge of relevant laws and regulations (FLSA, ACA, COBRA, etc.)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalismExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and general HRIS systemsPreferred **Experience supporting a company with under 150 employees
