** Inventory Specialist Harrisburg, PAHire ** Direct Hire* $50K–$53K/year Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, and more 1–2 hours from Harrisburg, PASterling Engineering is seeking an Inventory Specialist for our client in Harrisburg, PA. This role is based in Harrisburg, PA and will primarily work remotely. While working from home, the Inventory Specialist will handle administrative responsibilities such as logging orders, data entry, and general coordination. Once products are shipped, they will travel to the customer facility (within 1–2 hours from Harrisburg) to ensure delivery accuracy and customer satisfaction. A company vehicle will be provided for travel to customer sites.Job *Monitor customer site inventory; replenish and stock as needed to maintain defined levelsRecommend changes to inventory levels based on usage and identify new VMI program opportunitiesAssist customers with inventory space/placement and product shipmentsTake customer spot orders and relay to sales teamsVisit customer sites based on a set schedule and respond to emergency needsMaintain correct tagging and documentation on customer site binsDeliver products using company vehicle; follow all customer and company delivery proceduresHandle on-site customer inquiries and recommend product improvementsCoordinate with internal departments regarding customer visits and requirementsAddress issues related to incorrect products, shortages, or late shipmentsAssemble hoses for customers as neededMaintain company vehicle and follow safe driving policiesAbide by customer safety rules and attend required trainingParticipate in sales promotions, meetings, and training sessions****High school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience or equivalentMechanical/technical knowledge requiredUnderstanding of fluid connector products; ability to identify fitting thread typesKnowledge of warehouse processes and inventory controlAbility to read purchase orders and packing listsCommitment to excellent customer serviceStrong verbal and written communication skillsGood time management and basic computer/data entry skillsValid driver’s license; ability to pass MVR driving checkParker-Hannifin product knowledge a plusQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
