Our current businesses include:Hoogland Restaurant Group: The largest franchisee of Marcos Pizza with 130+ locations.Legacy Commercial Property: Own and manage over 700 commercial properties.Highland Pure Water & Ice: 24/7 kiosks with over 70 locations in 10+ states.Intune Physical Therapy: A physical therapy brand currently being built from the ground up.Role SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our Human Resources department. This entry-level position will provide critical administrative support to our HR team while gaining valuable experience across multiple HR functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent attention to detail.Core ResponsibilitiesSupport the employee onboarding process and new hire experience by preparing paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring all required documentation is completedAssist with processing employee terminations and gathering final documentationAudit background checks to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirementsHandle administrative aspects of wage garnishments, unemployment claims, and child support ordersMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR recordsProvide administrative support to the HR team (payroll, recruiting, benefits), as neededRespond to basic HR inquiries from employees and managersAssist with HR projects and initiatives as assignedQualificationsBachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTeam player and willingness to jump in where neededProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismStrong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasksCustomer service orientation and problem-solving mindsetPrevious HR internship or administrative experience, a plusWork environmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.Position type and expected hours of workThis is a full-time, on-site position.
