Maintenance ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily operations of our maintenance team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of off-highway equipment used in a steel mill environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance, leadership, and strategic planning.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate maintenance activities in collaboration with Operations to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and meets customer expectations.Supervise and schedule a team of maintenance mechanics in a 24/7 operational environment.Plan and manage preventive maintenance programs in compliance with corporate standards.Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.Hire, train, and develop qualified maintenance personnel.Preferred Experience & SkillsExperience in metal recovery, steel mill, or similar industrial environments.Strong background in heavy diesel equipment maintenance.Proven ability to manage budgets and maintenance planning.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in the scrap/metal industry or with off-highway equipment.
