Sr. Estimator – Public Works ConstructionOrange, CA | Full-Time | OnsiteWe’re seeking a Senior Estimator with proven experience in landscape/hardscape construction to lead our Estimating Department. This is a key leadership role responsible for supervising Jr. Estimators, managing complex bids, and driving profitability through accurate, strategic cost estimation.Key **Oversee all job estimates for public works construction, hardscape, and landscaping projectsSupervise and train Jr. EstimatorsCoordinate bid schedules and review cost proposalsAnalyze blueprints and specs to determine labor, material, and equipment needsEnsure production rates are accurate and competitiveUse MEP software for takeoffs and estimatesTrack cost trends and recommend process improvementsMaintain accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in all client communications5+ years of estimating experience in landscape construction or similar (concrete, grading, asphalt, utilities)Experience with Public Works projects (such as CalTrans)Must have experience supervising a teamStrong math, organizational, and software skills (Microsoft Office, MEP)Valid CA Class C driver’s license with a clean recordAbility to manage multiple $1M+ bids/projects simultaneously***Bilingual in English and Spanish or VietnameseAssociate degree in Construction or related field
