This position is with Angstrom Aluminum Castings, located in Grand Rapids, MISummaryManages maintenance staff ( High Pressure Die Casting Experience) , has a strong understanding of mechanical and technical work, and excellent leadership and supervisory skills. Directs and oversees all daily maintenance activities, including delegation of tasks, tracking mechanical performance, directing the processes of any necessary repairs, and preventative maintenance. Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee, manage, and direct all maintenance procedures and operationsEnsure all machinery is up to working standardsDefines preventative maintenance on machinery and ensures that preventative maintenance is followedAssess current maintenance work processes to optimize efficiencyManage proactivelyUse data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problemsCreate and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc)Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary partsOversee repairsTrain new employees in maintenance work processes and proceduresCreate a work environment with safety as a high priorityPerform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of workRecord and track daily progress/error reportsMaintain vendor relationships and order new materials as neededCreate and adhere to maintenance budgetsEnforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and companyOther duties as assignedPlease note that the duties and requirements described herein are intended to represent general contents of this job. This is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties and responsibilities.Requirements and QualificationsHigh Pressure Die Casting Experience is mustHigh school diploma or GED required5+ years relevant experience in maintenanceExtensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systemsPrevious managerial experience preferredExperience managing multiple vendorsAbility to consistently maintain positive client relationshipsCan effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilitiesMakes safety a priority at all timesStrong computer skills (Microsoft Suite) and a solid understanding of data analysis softwareAble to work weekend or off-shifts as requestedAble to work under pressure and in emergency settingAngstrom Automotive Group (AAG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
