Tower Technician

Required Skills & Experience***** • 6(minimum) or more months tower experience. • No OEM Certifications, some technical aptitude (i.e. LAN Networks, router, switches, power electrical) • Must be safety and rescue certified • Experience in the installation of unlicensed microwave backhaul radio( Nokia, Erikson, Seragon). • Ability to troubleshoot unlicensed microwave path • No formal education required • ***** Must be comfortable traveling primarily in Chicago, Denver, Portland, Sacramento, Michigan, Alaska, Midwest, and Indiana. No work in Iowa. Rare work in New York and Florida. ***** • Per ***** Provided for travel weeks, no upfront payment required. • ***** Hotels and cars are provided. • ***** Pay upfront for certain expenses and can expense them later. This person will develop new skills, work in a safety-minded environment, and join this team in expanding technology for a better community. As a Microwave Tower Technician II, you are responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment and systems. This role is 100% onsite with 100% travel required and pays up to 25.00 an hour based on experience. In this role you will be onsite for 6 weeks and the company will pay for you to travel home for a week in between shifts when you are off.
