American Tack & Hardware is a leading consumer goods designer and producer of home décor products sold through major retailers and ecommerce. We’re looking for an energetic problem solver to join our fun team that’s focused on better understanding our business and related data as well as leveraging technology to work more efficiently. The successful, highly motivated candidate will oversee critical Inventory, Warehouse, and Logistics activities for American Tack & Hardware. The ideal candidate will have proven experience optimizing operations in a warehouse setting. This role will also prepare and present performance updates to management, ensuring that deliverables are made. This role will require that you spend most of your time at our 3PL warehouse in Menomonee Falls, with time also spent at our Brookfield office.Responsibilities· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.· Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical count, 3PL, and NetSuite.· Lead import compliance efforts - ensure proper import compliance for all incoming shipments, work with freight forwarder to achieve certifications that help to streamline import process (CTPAT, etc.), lead compliance audit efforts, etc.· Ensure all inventory and transaction data accuracy in NetSuite.· Identify and implement opportunities to optimize inventory.· Drive process rigor and improvement within AT&H as well as with 3PL partner.· Regularly review all customer scorecards related to shipment quality and timeliness and drive process change/rigor to improve our scores. Work with customers to identify and resolve all issues impacting our scores. Communicate issues and performance within AT&H.· Review outbound retail customer shipments and validate that each shipment meets or exceeds customer-specific requirements. Document as needed to avoid potential customer disputes. Ensure 3PL has processes in place to consistently meet all customer shipment requirements.· Ensure that 3PL is completing cycle counts as required, and that they are following appropriate procedures.· Lead annual physical count of inventory from AT&H perspective, ensuring that proper procedures are followed by all involved.· Process customer returns so that they can be put back into inventory and credits applied to customer accounts as appropriate.· Inspect inbound shipments from suppliers to validate that containers were loaded properly, documenting any discrepancies for communication back to supplier.· Identify, document, and resolve product labeling issues.· Review and make packaging improvement/cost saving recommendations, work with packaging suppliers and 3PL to implement.· Work with TMS provider and 3PL to ensure shipments are routed the most efficient and cost-effective way. · Resolve discrepancies with carriers as needed.· Other tasks as required.Qualifications• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in inventory management or related field.• Experience working with NetSuite, Extensiv, or Anaplan is a plus.• Lean/Six-Sigma certification and/or experience is a plus.• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
