Position ** Vantem Global is seeking a seasoned Lead Estimator / Estimating Manager with construction estimating experience to lead our cost planning efforts. This individual will oversee all aspects of pre-construction estimating, from conceptual budgeting through detailed takeoffs, with a strong focus on modular construction methodology. This is a key leadership role responsible for building pricing strategies, validating designs for cost efficiency, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver accurate and competitive estimates.Key **Lead the development of comprehensive cost estimates from concept through final bidManage and maintain the historical cost database and unit pricing toolsCollaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Design teams to ensure estimates reflect real-world constructability and costEvaluate early architectural and structural designs to ensure alignment with modular construction methodsDrive standardization in estimating processes across all projectsMentor and manage junior estimating staff (if applicable)Provide executive-level summaries and risk assessments to support decision-makingSupport value engineering and pricing alternatives to meet budget goals**12–15 years of experience in construction estimating (modular, commercial, or residential a plus)Deep understanding of building systems, construction sequencing, and cost structuresProficiency in estimating software (e.g., Smartsheets, Sage Estimating, ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar)Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skillsExperience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environmentBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
