CONTRACT Administrative Assistant in Erie PennsylvaniaThe work is ON SITE in the office located in Erie, PA 16502. Pay up to $23.50 W2 hourly, Depending on ExperienceDuties include administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors. Skills in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software and Internet research abilities are needed. Must be adept and experienced in scheduling meetings and interviews.The ideal candidate has previous experience in an administrative support role and excellent attention to detail and communication. You must have demonstrated proactive mindset and ability to manage competing priorities seamlessly. Requires proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisorsFielding phone calls, receiving and directing visitors, typing, filing, and faxingProvide administrative support to key leaders as neededOrdering lunches for in-office trainings and meetings as requested, handle the expensing for these to the appropriate cost-centerManage third party office vendors for completion of work.Sorting and delivering mail, packagesGreeting visitorsKeep common break areas stocked with supplies.Order office supplies as neededEnsure any requested events are planned and execute on time and on budget.*****Must be willing and able to be present on the shop floor for certain tasks; For example, you may be asked to find an employee at their workstation for follow up questions about HR initiatives. Our location spans across a street so you must be willing to walk across campus if needed for meetings or to pick up paper paychecks for new hires or deliveriesVisible and approachable Carries out responsibilities relying on own initiative and independent action Understands the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships. Able to easily reprioritize tasks when business needs change and proactively communicate anticipated challenges or outcomes related to that transitionProfessional and can handle confidential information appropriatelyREQUIRED SKILLSAssociate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s preferred (must have bachelor’s degree to be considered for direct hire post-contract)Strong PC knowledge including the Microsoft Office suite of productsExperience creating Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentationsMust be able to follow instructions with limited supervision
