A packaging company in the Los Angeles, California area is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office & Shipping Assistant to support front desk operations, manage shipping and receiving tasks, and contribute to smooth logistics and customer service processes. This full-time, in-office role plays a key part in ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining an efficient work environment.**Receive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase ordersPick and pack customer orders accurately and efficientlyOrganize and maintain warehouse layout for optimal workflowConduct routine inventory checks and report discrepanciesCollaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goalsAnswer phones, direct calls, and assist with customer inquiriesGreet visitors and support general front desk operationsProvide responsive and professional customer service, including email communicationResolve order-related issues and provide updates on products, orders, and deliveriesStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsBasic math skills for inventory tasksExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesAbility to work both independently and within a teamAdaptability in a fast-paced, changing environmentExperience with phone systems and front desk duties is a plusFull-time, in-office only**DOE (depending on experience)
