Job Description

The Customer Success Processor is responsible for order entry, auditing orders and contacting customers, sales, or other departments to resolve order discrepancies. This position oversees all facets of order service, maintains customer files and provides clerical and administrative support. The successful candidate must thoroughly understand order entry and have a good knowledge of the company’s productsOur company believes in the Ideal Team Player. We follow the model behaviors of Humble (quick to point out the contributions of others), Hungry (self-motivated and diligent), Smart (socially appropriate and aware), Safety-Minded (works to lower safety risks, Quality-Minded (take pride in their work) and Attendance (recognizes their presence is important).ESSENTIALJOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Entering a high volume of orders while maintaining accuracy for areas in pricing, quantity, part number, etc.Correspond with customers by email (primarily), fax and phoneCorrespond with different departments by email (primarily) and phoneEnsures quality and enhances customer satisfaction by notifying customers of any order concerns, as well as entering order modifications according to customer preference and/or specificationsFollow up on orders when necessary to ensure timely deliveryCommunicates with supporting departments to ensure continuous customer satisfactionCommunicates with appropriate staff or supervisor when concerns or issues arisePromotes new product lines & special offersIncrease sales through cross selling & up-sellingUpdates and maintains customer file – customer profile and contactsNON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify areas of improvement of sales, marketing, purchasing departmentSupport teammatesAll other duties as assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift to fifteen (15) poundsCOMPENTENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Strong computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Salesforce)Ability to effectively communicate with customers, resolving issues while maintaining the highest standard of empathy and compassion for customers’ needs and concernsAbility to work with limited supervision and highly self-motivatedAble to change focus frequently and often while being detail oriented and well organizedAbility to effectively adapt to fast paced environmentStrong interpersonal, written, communication and organizational skillsAble to work independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to understand the company’s complete catalog of productsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:PREFERRED:Preferred: Two-year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experienceOne or more years of business experience with significant exposure to Data EntryThe McAlear Group offers a full range of benefits for eligible employee including 401k, health and life insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), disability coverage, and PTO
