We specialize in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical power systems across various industries, including utilities, manufacturing, and commercial facilities.Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled 07 Electrical Journeyman with a valid Washington State Nonresidential Maintenance license to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of nonresidential electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on NETA (InterNational Electrical Testing Association) testing procedures or a strong desire and competency to learn. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to develop expertise in NETA testing standards for equipment such as switchgear, transformers, and other critical electrical systems. If youre a strong 07 Journeymen and are eager to expand your career and experience, we will provide on the job training and continuing education to obtain your NETA credentials. We would expect you to obtain your NETA 2 certification within (1) year of employment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on nonresidential electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems, in compliance with Washington State electrical codes and regulations.Conduct NETA-compliant testing and inspections on electrical equipment, including but not limited to:Insulation resistance testingContact resistance testingTransformer turns ratio (TTR) testingCircuit breaker testingProtective relay testingDocument test results, maintenance activities, and equipment conditions accurately using company tracking systems and NETA reporting standards.Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC), Washington Administrative Code (WAC), and Revised Code of Washington (RCW).Assist in training and mentoring electrical trainees or apprentices, ensuring safe and effective work practices.Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in compliance with safety standards and company policies.Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) programs to enhance NETA testing skills and support career growth.QualificationsValid Washington State 07 Electrical Journeyman (Nonresidential Maintenance) licenseValid Washington state Driver license.
