Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing leadership and development of the maintenance team. This includes promoting a strong safety culture and support for reliable plant operations.Maintenance Manager **Determines performance objectives for the plant and maintenance departmentEnsures maintenance strategy aligns with business strategy and operations planDevelops improvement plans to drive plant operating performance and equipment reliabilityExecutes people strategy including talent development and trainingMaintains maintenance budget including labor, repairs, replacementsPartners with relevant stakeholders to identify and address process improvement opportunities to eliminate waste, enhance safety, reduce cost, increase capacity and productivity, and improve the end product.Prepares capital budget forecasts and effectively manages all capital projects/installations Leverages both internal and external resources to improve the life of current and new equipmentDrives continuous improvement, leads root cause failure analysis, and implements countermeasures in accordance with once-and-done strategiesUses analytics to identify opportunities in maintenance costs and machine performanceExecutes effective PM and work order programs using predictive and preventive technologiesDevelops and execute TPM & RWP plansEnsures maintenance employees are well trained and current on any required certifications to perform the full scope of their job expectationsEstablishes clear and measurable performance expectations and holds team members accountable for delivering the goalsMaintenance Manager **A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Science, Operations, or Business 5+ years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentTrack record of promoting and ensuring a strong safety cultureExperience with TPM preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage team members at all levelsStrong process, engineering, and technical abilitiesCapital project executionContinuous improvement mindset
