General Maintenance Technician

This is an entry-level position involving maintenance work in a highway materials testing facility. Role and Responsibilities General activities include some or all the ***** performing minor electrical, minor plumbing, minor HVAC, and minor drywall repairs under the direction of the Senior Maintenance Technician to the building, grounds, and equipment. Skill in the use of hand, power, and bench tools. Ability to repair and adjust plumbing equipment and fixtures. This position will be working in the Administration Section. Qualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school diploma, or equivalent. General Maintenance experience is required. Preferred SkillsAbility to maintain the equipment and ensure that it is properly lubricated and/or cooled. Ability to use hand tools including saws, drills, etc. Additional NotesA Valid Driver’s License is required. ***** Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM- 6:00 PM
