Products include Water Treatment Process Analyzers, boiler and cooling water controllers and associated data management, chemical metering pumps, chlorine dioxide generators, general PID process controllers, engineered skid systems, and polymer feeders. Field service trips are required for equipment commissioning, training and troubleshooting. Excellent organizational, detail-oriented documentation and communication skills required.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary Responsibilities:Technically support product line including troubleshooting of PID controllers and associated sensors, chemical feed pumps, and engineered custom systems.Create Technical/Sales tools such as PowerPoint presentations, and documents for onsite training.Answer technical phone calls from chemical vendors, distributors, engineers, contractors, and end users.Field service to encompass startup, troubleshooting and training at jobsites.Communicate effectively with customers, chemical vendors and distributors as well as with Sales, Production and Engineering groups providing information regarding the nature of problems, course of action to be taken and schedule for completion of work.Availability to assist the Training Manager with equipment training.Plan and execute field service trips from initial assignment through customer documentation and follow up.Provide support and serve as backup for other internal departments such as production testing, repair, etc.ProMinent Expectations:Adhere to Company policies and procedures.Punctual attendance.Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner.Accomplish goals, meet deadlines and objectives.Support Client, Company and Team.Maintains company confidentiality.Other duties as required to attain company goals.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Required:Associates degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering technology or 5 years equivalent experience.Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.Proficient with the use of hand tools and electronic equipment such as DVM, oscilloscope, simulator, soldering iron and wrenches.Basic understanding of electro chemistry and ion specific potentiometric and amperometric sensors.Ability to lift, push and pull up to 60 lbs.Read and understand P&ID and electrical schematic drawings.Prior experiences in commissioning/troubleshooting water treatment equipment systems.Knowledge of process control and PLC experience.Ability to work in a team environment.Proven ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.Excellent computer knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Professional individualExcellent communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver’s license.Availability for travel within the USA up to 50%.ProMinent prides itself on the quality of its employees and as such, candidates who receive a job offer will be required to successfully pass a drug test and a background check.
