Machine Shop Manager needed in the greater Tucson, AZ market.The Machine Shop Manager leads people and processes overseeing the day-to-day actives of the plant.The individual will direct team activities with the goal of manufacturing the best possible products on-time while maintaining a safe working environment, continuously improving processes, being an asset to customers, and developing employees in knowledge/competency resulting in a more effective team. The Machine Shop Manager should be able to think outside the box to solve problems and willing to ensure department goals a met. The Machine Shop Manager will have responsibility for production, machining, planning along with continuous improvement/manufacturing engineering. **Provide motivation, support, guidance, and constructive feedback to employees, developing and training them while building understand of the alignment with company culture and goals.Provide decisive leadership giving clear direction in everyday situations.Handle time & vacation approval, hiring selections and decisions to discontinue employment.Schedule machine and staff for maximum productivity.Coordinate all labor and materials in the machine shopIdentify and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and qualityMake recommendations on capital expenditures to improve capacity and quality.Full-time employment** Medical, Dental, Vision, Relocation, 401K, etc……Salary $110,000 - $135,000Bonus $10,000 - $15,000Total Compensation $ 120,000 - $150,000Relocation Support to the market provided by the company to the Machine Shop Managercnc, machining, parts, machine, custom machining, prototyping, precision machining, fabrication, milling, turning, drilling, multi-axis, CAD/CAM, G-coding, G-code, M-code, tooling
