The Choice is managing an exciting temporary-to-hire search for an Executive Assistant for our client- a prominent speaker and author, who focuses on happiness, well-being, and purpose.The Executive Assistant will manage comprehensive scheduling, travel coordination, and logistical support for the author in addition to some senior leaders and office operations as needed. The position is fast paced but the EA will be working with a truly supportive and tenured team and there is a lot of opportunity to grow.We are seeking candidates **A completed Bachelors degreeSome previous experience in a role that required scheduling, travel coordination, and/or event coordination would be highly preferred. Previous Hill experience would be a great fit.Polished communication skills, energetic, collaborative, and detail-orientedAbility to work with discretion and confidentiality, especially when interfacing with public figures** Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and Zoom is essential.Ability to work in the office Monday-Thursday in Tyson’s Corner. Fridays are remote. An interest in traveling to events would be a very large plus but not required. Job *****Provide detailed calendar management for the author/speaker. Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements. Schedule internal and external meetings.Book travel, accommodations and ground transportation for author/speaker, CEO, and other staff as needed. Actively monitor travel details during trips to ensure seamless logistics and respond in real time to any changes or disruptions. This role requires occasional availability outside of standard business hours to support time-sensitive travel needs and ensure smooth execution.Coordinate with the operations team on all engagements, including events and media, to provide administrative and logistical support as needed.Ensure all details are managed so that the author/speaker and CEO are well-informed of upcoming meetings, events, and responsibilities. Anticipate needs in advance of travel, meetings, events, etc., and create detailed itinerariesPlanning and executing logistics for internal events, including, but not limited to, staff meetings, team retreats, and all other team activities.Manage travel vendor relationships.Manage contacts and relationships for the author/speaker and CEO.Expense management for the author/speaker and CEO.Provide general administrative office support including shipping, office supplies, conference room booking, and equipment management.
