We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to set up, operate, manual ProtoTrak lathes and milling machines as well as CNC 3 and 5 axis machines for the production of high-precision parts. This role involves interpreting and working from engineering drawings, and schematics, while maintaining quality standards and meeting production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, experience with precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work independently.Key **Set up and operate ProtoTrak lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality parts from various materials including SS304, 316L, aluminum, and plastics.Know how to change out tools and upload pre-coded programs into a 3 or 5 axis CNC machine.Interpret and work from engineering schematics, and technical drawings to ensure parts are machined to exact specifications.Complete work orders by reviewing the Production Status Report and prioritizing tasks accordingly.Perform own setups and follow pre-inspection checklists before starting each job.Log job activity and progress in the ERP system accurately.Measure and verify final part dimensions using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and fixtures.Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure equipment reliability.Comply with all company safety procedures, policies, and quality standards.Support a strong culture of quality and customer focus in the production environment.Qualifications & **Proficient in reading and interpreting technical schematics and engineering drawings.Familiarity with uploading programs like G-code, M-code, or ProtoTrak controls is a plus.
