Delta has been retained by a confidential general contractor client to conduct a search for the position of Civil Construction Project Manager – Roadway/Paving in Fort Myers, FL. Project Manager Compensation & BenefitsAnnual salary for the Project Manager is $110,000 to $140,000 per year, and total compensation, including benefits, insurance, retirement, and bonus, far exceeds the annual salary.• Industry-leading bonus program (performance-based)• 401(k) matching• Dental insurance• Flexible spending account• Outstanding health insurance• Life insurance• Paid holidays and PTO• Company vehicle or monthly allowance• Fuel card and travel reimbursement• Technology package and company credit cardProject Manager Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager will lead and manage DOT and municipal roadway construction projects, working closely with the Area Manager and field operations team to ensure successful project delivery.Duties and **• Interface with project owners, engineers, and general contractors on scope, schedule, and cost• Oversee contract compliance and ensure that work is completed per project specifications• Prepare accurate take-offs and determine material/resource requirements• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews• Submit project schedules, submittals, material sourcing, and claims to stakeholders• Verify subcontractor pay applications and manage project invoicing• Track and collect accounts receivable• Analyze job cost reports and compare estimates to actuals to identify trends• Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role for DOT or municipal roadway construction, including paving, grading, and utilities• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field• Proficiency in reading construction plans, specifications, schedules, and contracts• Strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability to manage multi-discipline teams• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, DOT compliance, and lien laws• Preferred *** OSHA 30, CPPR, CQC, Traffic Control Supervisor, Asphalt Paving Level 1 & 2• Good driving record to allow operation of company-owned vehicles• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
