Project Manager

Title: Project Manager (Climate Strategy) Contract Duration: 12 months to start – contract only for now but could change Location: no preference on either locationRichmond, VA 23238 McLean, VA 22102 Schedule / Hours: Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm EST) Hybrid: 3 days per week between Mon – Thurs Training: Training will be provided to learn the ins and outs of their processes, systems, and software - extensive training to ensure they are supported and successful.Miscellaneous: Equipment provided by the clientWhat they’ll do:The role involves cross-functional implementation of client’s climate strategy (requiring significant organizational skills and strategic thinking), including tracking status updates, creating roadmaps, and documenting major decision points.The role requires the ability to drive decisions within the company across stakeholders.Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting ceremonies, updating status reports, and preparing information and decks for executive leadership, including the CEO.Will oversee 10-15 work streams associated with the Discover integration and collaborate with 10-20 cross-functional partners.Bringing together cross functional partners, tracking status updates, delivering milestones and deliverables, document updates and running project management in tactical and administration.Drive decisions across stakeholders Conducting stand ups and working group agendas, working with partner groups on status and progress updates, taking info from ceremonies and meetings to update status reports, drafting emails and decks for leadership – will utilize templates as well for messaging that goes all the way up to the CEOWill be responsible for 1 large scale program partnering with other associates on 10-15 work streams that are all cross functional Tools: G suite, lucidchart (for program mapping) is a plusWhat we’re looking for: MUST have 6-7+ years of Project Management or Program Management experience within a large corporate environment - will require organizational skills – roadmaps, deliverables, documentation on status and intentClimate Strategy Project Management experience is a plus MUST have experience with G Suite and Lucidchart is highly preferred Elevated need to have someone at more senior level to connect dots and think from a risk standpointPMP certifications or lean certifications will be a plus Will need to come out of a large corporate environment managing large scale programs or projects About Us:Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
