Process & Documentation Specialist - Operational Risk

A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Process & Documentation Specialist to join its HR Finance and Vendor Management team in a hybrid capacity. This role focuses on optimizing departmental workflows, enhancing compliance, and producing documentation that supports internal and vendor-facing processes.About the ** Preferred locations include Winchester, VA; open to Pensacola, FL and Vienna, VA Core hours 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hybrid, with on-site expectation minimum 2 days per weekAnalyzing and documenting workflows within HR Finance and Vendor ManagementCreating SOPs, work instructions, and process maps using appropriate toolsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to gather input and standardize practicesDrafting internal guides for vendor managers and contract ownersReviewing and aligning documents with enterprise standards and compliance frameworksUsing SharePoint and Adobe tools to manage and distribute documentationSupporting stakeholder training sessions and documentation rolloutsIntegrating process documentation with risk frameworks and third-party risk metricsPerforming other duties, as neededBachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related fieldProven experience in Process Documentation, Workflow Analysis, and Process ImprovementStrong knowledge of Vendor Relations, Contract Management, and Third-Party Risk ManagementProficiency in SharePoint, Adobe, and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong analytical and communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teamsDesired ***Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other Process Improvement methodologiesExperience in HR, Financ,e or Vendor ManagementFamiliarity with Regulatory and Compliance standards related to Vendor Risk Management
