Job Description

A global industrial and technology-driven organization is seeking a senior IT leader to build and scale a modern, strategic Project Management Office. This individual will guide enterprise-level project and portfolio management, lead program execution aligned to key business initiatives, and shape the future of how work gets done across IT.This is a critical leadership position responsible for aligning cross-functional stakeholders, advancing delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid), and elevating PMO maturity and performance company-wide. Youll report into executive leadership and have a direct impact on transformational programs, M&A activity, and long-range planning.What You’ll Be **Define and implement the vision for enterprise project management and delivery excellenceOversee full project lifecycle across multiple business units, from intake and prioritization to execution, governance, and reportingIntroduce and refine delivery frameworks including Agile, Lean, and traditional methodologiesDevelop KPIs and dashboards to track success metrics, portfolio health, and PMO effectivenessCollaborate with senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment of resources, timelines, and business goalsLead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of project managers and Agile coachesGuide change management efforts and drive adoption of PMO practices across functionsDrive process standardization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiativesChampion stakeholder engagement and transparency across executive, business, and IT teamsWhat We’re Looking **10+ years of project/program leadership experience, including 5+ years managing a PMO or enterprise portfolioStrong experience scaling Agile in complex environments; certifications in PMP, Agile/Scrum requiredProven ability to drive executive alignment, manage large-scale project portfolios, and influence across an enterpriseDeep understanding of resource planning, ROI tracking, and performance measurementStrong leadership presence with experience coaching and mentoring diverse teamsERP transformation (SAP or similar) and/or M&A integration experience is a strong plusMasters degree preferred; Change Management certification (e.g., PROSCI) a bonus
