Job ***** Telecom Project Manager***** Oakland, CA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite Weekly)***** 6+ Months ContractJob **Our client is seeking an experienced Telecom Project Manager with a strong background in networkinfrastructure and utility telecommunications. The ideal candidate will lead complex telecomprojects involving Microwave, Fiber, Transport, and Substation Communications.This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite in Oakland, CA weekly.Key *Manage and coordinate end-to-end telecom infrastructure projects, including planning, execution,monitoring, and delivery.Oversee installations and upgrades involving Microwave backhaul, Nokia SAR routers, FiberTransport systems, and Substation telecom networks.Ensure timely and cost-effective execution of telecom projects while adhering to utility complianceand safety standards.Coordinate with internal teams, field engineers, vendors, and stakeholders for effective projectdelivery.Track progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.Prepare and maintain project documentation, timelines, and reporting dashboards.Required Skills & *5+ years of experience in Telecom or Network Project Management, preferably within a utility orlarge infrastructure environment.Deep technical knowledge of Microwave networks, Nokia SAR, Fiber Transport, and CommonFacility/Backhaul systems.Prior experience working with or for utility companies or telecom service providers (e.g., AT&T) ishighly desirable.Strong familiarity with Substation communications, Network Design, and Transport Layer Protocols.Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.Excellent stakeholder communication, planning, and organizational skills.Preferred *Previous experience working with utility clients.PMP Certification is a plus.Background in engineering or telecom infrastructure is advantageous.Additional ****Must be able to work onsite in Oakland, CA three days a week.Candidates must be currently located in the Bay Area – no relocation or remote candidates.
