Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Estimator with a strong background in pumping/compressor station construction within semiconductor facility projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for specialized infrastructure projects, particularly those involving ultrapure water, wastewater, and chemical delivery systems used in semiconductor manufacturing environments.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for the construction of pumping/compressor stations and related infrastructure in semiconductor plants.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to quantify materials, labor, and equipment requirements.Analyze vendor and subcontractor proposals for alignment with project requirements and budget.Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure accurate scope coverage and risk assessment.Monitor historical cost data, market trends, and regional cost variations to support estimate accuracy.Participate in pre-construction planning and value engineering processes.Assist in developing cost breakdown structures and pricing models for bid packages and client proposals.Support project scheduling teams by providing input on cost-loaded schedules and phasing.Provide cost forecasting and cost control support as required during project execution.Ensure estimates align with internal controls, client requirements, and industry standards.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in construction cost estimating, with at least 2 years in semiconductor or high-tech industrial facilities.Proven experience estimating costs related to pumping stations, including piping, pumps/compressors and the electrical systems that control them is essential. Familiarity with semiconductor facility requirements, including cleanroom protocols, chemical distribution, and utility systems.Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., CostX, WinEst, RSMeans, or equivalent).Strong Microsoft Excel skills; ability to manipulate large data sets and perform complex calculations.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Knowledge of safety, permitting, and regulatory standards in industrial construction.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with ultrapure water (UPW), wastewater treatment (WWT), or chemical delivery systems in semiconductor environments.Certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., AACE, RICS, or PMI).Bilingual in English and [Japanese/Korean/Mandarin], preferred for international project coordination.We screen ALL Candidates to verify the validity of each applicants provided information.
