Using your Construction Administration expertise, you will be an integral part of the project team ensuring that the design intent of assigned projects is followed; you will serve as the liaison between the Architect/Engineer team(s) and owner/Construction Manager. The role involves a high level of collaboration among many disciplines in our employee-owned Firm.Responsibilities:Provide Design and construction coordinationConduct regular design reviews, updates, coordination, value engineering, constructability, shop drawing revisions, ASIs, RFI’s and change ordersConduct Cost estimating on assigned projectsManage A/E schedule and milestone datesTravel to project or design office as required to facilitate construction; visit job sites as required to review progress and facilitate construction by coordinating RFI’s, ASI’s and other information requests, payment applications and contractor requestsCoordinate with field Project Manager regarding drawing progress, reports, RFI’s, ASI’s, owner concerns, schedule, and concerns of field teamDuring design process, review drawings, as a QA/QC check, for coordination or review of specificationsOther duties as assigned.Education, Experience, Skill sets:At least 10 years on-site field experience overseeing projects under construction as an Architect/Construction Administrator or Construction/Project Manager.Bachelor or master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering from an accredited university/college required or requisite experience.Possess a working knowledge of construction industry and how buildings are put togetherFamiliarity with AIA documentsPossess a thorough knowledge of contract administrationProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Proficiency using cost-estimating software (Timberline or Primavera required)Knowledge of Microsoft Project preferredAbility to read architectural drawingsWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU!We are an employee-owned company and YES, you will be an owner and receive stock without purchaseCompetitive pay, bonus opportunities, and year-round half-day Fridays to jump start the weekendThe ability to work remote up to 2 days a week once acclimate!Flexible work hoursWe offer a robust and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), ESOP, Group Life & Disability, Voluntary Life, plus many more!Subsidized AIA membership and Professional License Renewals.Reimbursement for professional designation exam(s)Professional Development opportunities that align with the Firms leadership succession plan and/or individual development plan because WE WANT YOU TO GET PROMOTED!Social and team building eventsWe encourage our employees to pursue local and professional advocacy groupsWe provide the opportunity to help with pro-bono initiatives that bring architecture to the communitySpiezle Architectural Group is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer, M/F/Disability/Veteran.
