AeroTEC provides comprehensive, full-service aerospace services and solutions to customers in aircraft design, testing, instrumentation, certification, manufacturing, modifications and maintenance with facilities in Seattle, Moses Lake, and Wichita.About the TeamAeroTEC’s Program Management Office (PMO) leads the successful execution of AeroTEC’s programs, providing comprehensive, program and project management for to the AeroTEC organization. Through its program Managers and Program Leaders, the PMO is responsible for the overall customer relationship.About the RoleThe Manager, Program Management leads a team of Program Managers in the capture and execution of AeroTEC’s programs and ensures that the PMO organization is staffed and enabled to be successful. The Manager Program Management is responsible for the development of the Program Managers’ skills and capabilities and identifying & closing capability gaps, and manages the tools & processes used to manage programs and oversees training for the PMO.The Manager, Program Management supports the enterprise financial and management reporting process with data and reports that enable processes for revenue forecasting, operations planning and staffing plans.The Manager, Program Management is the first point of escalation for internal functional alignment & prioritization, playing a key role in identifying organizational and process gaps and participating in activities to improve processes.In This Role You Will:Lead a team of Program Managers to create master schedules that track and report on implementation efforts across Risk Management, Treasury, Audit, Controllership, and Technologies remain to accomplish milestones:Build a department structure with appropriate, cost-effective staffing levels; and,Ensure operational performance standards are met or exceeded.Monitor departmental work performance to ensure productivity and the needs of the department and operations are met.Attend and participate in various management and supervisorial meetings and projects as required.Act as an inter-departmental planning partner and consult with other leads and managers on projects and initiatives as needed.Manage short- and long-term PMO Department planning.Track goals and progress toward them.Report status regularly to the leadership team.Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, update existing processes and implement new processes as required.Lead the team to the identification, analyzes, responses to and monitoring of project risks:Determines prioritization of Program risks; and,maximize the probability and impact of positive events and minimizes the probability and impact of adverse events.Lead the team to maintain a comprehensive, integrated issue, Risk, and Decision documentation, as they relate to project timelines and co-dependencies, and coordinate solutions development. Maintain documentation of changes to scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and identify dependency implications.Oversee the development of communications documents detailing implementation progress for Senior Leadership, Boards, and Regulators, including regular reporting.Execute regular PMO Department meetings.The Skills You Will Bring (Minimum):EducationFour (4) year degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation).MBA and/or Master’s degree is preferred.Other Engineering fields may be considered.ExperienceEight (8) years of aircraft design, development, and test experience.Must have a proficient working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 25 certification regulations, together with the associated means of compliance presented in AC 25-7C.Must have experience managing programs to completion and within budget.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Travel 25% (flying and driving) to various international and domestic worksites may be required.Driving personal vehicle for errands required.
