***** Multi-Disciplined Technician III, Req#: CRNGJP00028212***** Concord, NC (100% onsite)After an initial training period (M-F, 8 am – 4 pm), the work schedule will follow a 12-hour day/night rotation per the client’s production shift schedule.***** 12+ Months ContractJob **This position will support the automation systems in the warehouse area of the client’s Concord Optical Fiber plant, working directly with the equipment and systems responsible for order fulfillment. After an initial training period (M-F, 8 am – 4 pm), the work schedule will follow a 12-hour day/night rotation per the client’s production shift schedule.Education and ***** A.A.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering TechnologyDemonstrated experience with robots and conveyor systemsAbility to navigate and interpret PLC codeIn lieu of a degree, 5+ years hands-on experience with robots, PLCs, AC/DC and servo motors, pneumatic systems, sensors, valves, and other automation-related equipmentWindows PC and Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word)Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work safely around automated equipmentSoft **Safety consciousSelf-starter with the ability to work both independently and in small teamsAbility to multitask with strong organizational skillsResults-drivenKey **Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide array of automation systems in the warehouse area including, mini load AS/RS cranes, Fanuc robots, various roller conveyors, and automation devices.Work with the operations team to ensure all processes and equipment are running smoothly and any issues are resolved in a timely manner.Work with the engineering team on advanced support issues or process improvement projects.Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly.
