Infrastructure Project Manager - Financial services

-The ideal candidate will have between 7-9 years of experience managing infrastructure related projects such as network hardware implementations and upgrades, server OS upgrades, web hosting platform upgrades, database platform upgrades, security application implementations and upgrades, and possess foundational cloud knowledge.-Strong communications skills, written and verbal, to communicate with individual contributors, managers, and senior leadership within the organization.-Strong organizational and planning skills to drive out project plan tasks, resource assignments, and durations used to drive execution, manage progress, and make decisions on project status.-Top 3 skills needed for this ***** Organizational Skills, planning skills, communication skills-Tools and/or software they will be ***** Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Planview, Microsoft Office Suite7-9 years of experienceResponsible for the successful planning, implementation, and completion of multiple parallel medium to large, cross-functional Infrastructure projects with medium to high priority and complexity.Creates project plans, drives out task creation, establishes task durations, and assigns responsibilities.Sets milestones, tracks project tasks based on the project plan, and monitors and summarizes the progress of all assigned projects or programs.Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status, issues and risks.May require a bachelors degree and at least 7 years of experience in the Project Management field.Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals.A wide degree of creativity and the ability to work independently is expected.
