Our manufacturing/distribution client is looking for an Operations Manager to join our senior leadership team and take charge of day-to-day operations at our New Haven, VT facility.As a key member of our management team, you’ll oversee production, field operations, safety, quality, and facility management—ensuring our systems and teams are aligned for growth, efficiency, and long-term success.?What You’ll DoLead and manage production, field, warehouse, and project teams; hire, train, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.Oversee inventory, shipping targets, parts management, and capital assets like fleet vehicles and equipment.Optimize operational systems (NetSuite, Bright) for service and support functions.Schedule and coordinate field service and installations to ensure responsive, efficient coverage.Drive operational reporting, performance monitoring, and cross-departmental alignment.Serve as Safety Officer—manage compliance (OSHA/VOSHA), training, incident reporting, and regulatory programs.Maintain and improve SOPs, quality controls, and documentation processes.Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and company leadership to meet strategic goals.Communicate openly and build trust across internal teams and external partners.?What You Bring5+ years of operations and team leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.Solid understanding of Lean practices, quality, safety, compliance, and cross-functional operations.Familiarity with engineering principles; hands-on comfort with tools and equipment.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Excel; NetSuite experience is a plus.A collaborative, ethical, and transparent leadership style.?What They OfferCompetitive salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year - depending on experienceBonusGenerous benefits package, including health insurance, PTO, and retirement contributionsA values-driven team environment where your voice and leadership matter****LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY *******Please ** This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
