Our client, a mission-driven and well-established non-profit organization in the Greater Philadelphia area, is seeking an HR Generalist to join their collaborative and high-performing team. This is an excellent contract to hire opportunity for an organized and compliance-savvy HR professional who thrives in a detail-driven role supporting operations that truly make a difference.About you:5+ years of experience in an HR role, ideally with exposure to credentialing and complianceComfortable managing background checks, clearances, and licensure verificationsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughExcellent communicator with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyAble to maintain confidentiality and build trust with both internal teams and external stakeholdersA proactive problem solver who takes pride in supporting operational excellencePrior experience in a non-profit, healthcare, or human services environment a plusAbout the job:Oversee onboarding process, including background checks, FBI fingerprinting, and child abuse clearancesEnsure ongoing compliance by monitoring driving records, sanction checks, and document renewalsPartner with HR leadership and program directors to ensure readiness for audits, inspections, and licensing reviewsSupport related administrative functions such as telecommuting approvals, labor law postings, and monthly compliance billingServe as a liaison between HR, Legal, and Program teams to ensure credentialing and compliance practices are followedJoin a stable and values-oriented organization with long-term potentialThis is a contract to hire paying up to $55,000 annually upon permanent hire, with a hybrid schedule based out of the organizations Philadelphia office.
