Performs inspection and/or testing duties to ensure that shipped production fulfill all customer specifications and quality requirements. Perform a variety of duties to ensure that materials, products, and processes meet specifications and/or standards. Duties typically include visual and dimensional inspecting, product and process auditing, data collection and reporting. May use a variety of precision measuring instruments and test equipment. May maintain graphs and records pertinent to the function.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS VALIDATIONOperator Manager* Perform final and in process inspection of production parts daily in accordance with company quality assurance policies and customer specifications.* Process customer and supplier product rejects including recording and reporting.* Process internal product rejects including recording and reporting.* Report product and process quality based on facts and data.* Document and report in section finding and results, monitor corrective actions.* Follow and support existing standards.* Participate in problem solving activities* Help implement solutions including updating/ creating standards, training, and verification of effectiveness* Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES VALIDATIONOperator Manager* Strong metal fabrication background.* Understands the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.* Ability to safely and effectively operate various tools and equipment required.* Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.* Good verbal and written communication skills.* Successfully completes all necessary safety and OSHA training requirements.BEHAVIORS VALIDATIONManager* Safety discipline is a way of life - does not violate safety rules.* Flexible and responsive.
