They are also one of the worlds largest nonprofit photography associations that is organized to help professional photographers with over 30,000 current members in more than 50 countries.WHAT YOU WILL DO:This role provides administrative support for organizations Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operation Officer and Board of Directors. The incumbent will perform complex and confidential administrative functions including meeting preparation: preparing agendas, notices, minutes and resolutions for corporate meetings; budget preparation and travel arrangements. As the Executive Assistant you will maintain the master copy of all corporate governing documents and manuals. In addition, this person will handle confidential and non-routine information and explain corporate policies when necessary.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provides administrative support to both governing bodies of the association - Board of Directors and Council.Prepare materials sent to board members prior to the meeting.Prepare and distribute the minutes taken at all corporate meetings including Board of Directors meetings, meetings of the Executive Committee of the Board and bi-weekly Senior Staff meetings.Responsible for the maintenance and distribution of the association’s Bylaws and Board Policy Manual. Ensures all changes to these documents are correctly uploaded to the organizations Document Vault.Maintains and updates central filing system. Locates and retrieves information when needed. Ensures that confidential and highly sensitive information remains protected.Assists in preparation of annual budgets for Board of Directors, and Council.Maintains and prepares items needed to keep Trademarks in effect.Coordinates several functions at the annual convention: handling all aspects of the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Board Spouse luncheon and procurement of all employee awards.WHAT YOU NEED:Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the areas of administrative support/services.Naturally cheerful, contagiously upbeat, and perpetually positive - the type of person who enjoys working with highly engaged co-workers.Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills, along with a sense of urgency to get things done efficiently and correctly.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and highly focused attention to detail.Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Full-time, exemptOnsite, Monday-FridayCompensation: $80-$90k annuallyLocation: Atlanta, GA
