Job ** Payroll and Benefits Administrator Renton, WAJob ** Full-TimePosition * We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our HR and Finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple entities, managing employee benefits programs, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both payroll and benefits administration, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key *Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple entities, including manual adjustments such as car allowances.Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, qualifying life events, payroll deductions, and regulatory compliance.Conduct routine audits and generate reports within UKG to ensure benefits accuracy and proper deductions.Monitor Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, including full-time status tracking, leave of absence (LOA) management, and workers’ compensation claims.Reconcile monthly benefits coverage using Excel functions and vendor data reports.Assist with year-end processing, including the preparation and distribution of W-2 and 1095 forms.Act as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries related to payroll and benefits.Partner with the HR Generalist to support onboarding and offboarding processes.Prepare accurate journal entries and collaborate with the accounting team to ensure payroll accuracy.Support internal and external audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Required *Minimum of 5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.At least 3 years of experience in benefits administration.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with HRIS systems, specifically UKG (Ready) and ADP.Strong attention to detail and a proactive, deadline-driven work style.High school diploma or GED required.Preferred **Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Familiarity with multi-state payroll laws and compliance.Experience working in both office and manufacturing or hybrid work environments.Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs and manage stress effectively.Strong interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn, grow, and collaborate across teams.
