Customer Service Assistant

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Customer Service Assistant for our client in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, onsite, temporary position.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Customer Service Assistant supports customers with online purchases and inquiries, primarily through email and phone communication. They manage orders using a POS system, track shipments, and help resolve claims in a professional and timely manner. Experience in eCommerce is essential, as the role involves handling fulfillment updates and inventory tasks. Additionally, the assistant supports pop-up events and contributes to operational logistics as needed.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide support for online shoppers, answering questions and guiding them through the purchasing processHandle customer communication via phone and email, ensuring prompt and helpful responsesEnter and manage orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) systemTrack deliveries and coordinate with fulfillment teams to keep customers informedAssist with inventory tasks and help set up and staff occasional pop-up shop eventsManage and resolve customer complaints or claims with professionalism and careQUALIFICATIONS:Previous experience in eCommerce retail or customer serviceProficient in POS systems, eCommerce platforms, and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of order processing, fulfillment, shipping, and receivingHighly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independentlyCOMPENSATIONThis position offers an hourly range of $21-$23/hour!ABOUT OUR SEARCH FIRMScion Staffing is a national award-winning staffing firm!
